Infrared Remoted Control: Two controllers included, up to 20 programmable remote controls. Includes microship hopping code that prevents copying. Will work from up to 15 feet away on the outside of the lock only.

This new keyless electronic Infrared Remote control lock is unique for several reasons. Since it can be set as either storeroom or passage function it can be viewed as two different locks. Set as a passage function will work this way; the bottom lever latch will only latch the door closed and not lock it. The top deadbolt and bottom spring latch will be locked from either side by pulling up on the lever handle all the way up. Or set as a storeroom function will work like this; Door closes and automatically locks from the outside by bottom latch. Free to unlock from the inside by turning lever. Click on the remote control from outside to unlock both deadbolt and spring latch at same time. Click on remote control and lift lever handle up to lock both deadbolt and spring latch at same time after the door is closed from outside. A great feature.

Just click to unlock: This lock comes with 2 small remote controllers, and you can add up to 20 total. Microchip hopping code is used, so there is no way to copy the controller. Easy to program, set and delete in less than a minute. Alarm will sound very loud if the high security tubular emergencey lock is picked. (Very unlikely). Long lasting battery life, 30,000 entries or 1 year stand by.
